We stayed at Fisherman Hotel Westfjords for a few nights during our road trip through Iceland. The hotel nailed our need for a room with a private bathroom, and we were pleasantly surprised to be given Room no. 5 on the top floor, which offered great views. The design and decor of the hotel were unique and interesting, making it feel more like a small apartment rather than a typical hotel room. The bathroom was spacious and the room was simple and clean, in typical Icelandic style. We loved having a good-sized desk to set up our work station. The hotel's restaurant served delicious dinners, and breakfast was one of the best we've had on our Iceland trips, with fresh bread and a variety of local products on the buffet. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had the best stay ever at this hotel in Sudureyri! the brand new, fully furnished apartment was spacious and clean, with beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the harbor. the owner was incredibly helpful and even brought us freshly caught cod from his house when the stores were closed. the staff was hospitable and attended to all our needs. the hotel's restaurant served amazing food, and the atmosphere both inside and outside was beautiful. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Sudureyri.

The hotel is quite old and needs some refurbishment. the heating in the rooms is not working properly and can get very cold during the night.
