Spacious and modern interior of the pods was a pleasant surprise. the room felt much bigger than it appeared from the outside. the hot pots were a highlight, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience after a long day. the riverfront location added to the beauty of the surroundings.

The doors in the wooden cottages had a problem of not closing properly, making it necessary to lock them to prevent them from banging in the wind. the bright lights over the hot tubs were a bit too intense, it would have been better if they were dimmed at least a little bit.

the tiny cabins were cosy and economical, exceeded my expectations. the hot tubs and communal bathrooms were surprisingly clean. the beautiful surroundings and helpful staff made our stay memorable.

One whirlpool wasn't clean.

We stayed in the Camping Pod for a few nights and loved it. The Pod was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bed and a cozy sitting area. The heating worked well, and even though there was a slight draft in strong winds, it didn't bother us much. The kitchen hut had all the necessary utensils, and the location next to a beautiful river was perfect. The owner being an author of children's books was a cool bonus.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The bungalow we had was incredibly cute and provided ample privacy. The blackout curtains were a great touch, ensuring a good night's sleep. The price was also amazing, only $66 USD for this cozy accommodation. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with access to a hot tub and a great collection of books and music. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and Glymur Waterfall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We had a fantastic stay at the camping pods at Fossatun! The food was delicious, especially the lava cake for dessert. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. The facilities were extremely clean, including the pod and washing areas. We were impressed by the affordability of the pods, which allowed us to have a comfortable visit to Iceland. The owner even went out of their way to help us when we arrived late and provided us with everything we needed. We highly recommend staying at Camping Pods & Cottages - Sleeping Bag Accommodation.

I recently had an amazing stay at a cute wooden cabin in a beautiful location with great amenities at Camping Pods & Cottages - Sleeping Bag Accommodation. the cabin had a comfortable bed and was very private and warm. the surroundings were stunning, with waterfalls and a river nearby. the highlight was the "troll path" that told a fascinating story about trolls through an amazing landscape. the dinner at the on-site restaurant was excellent, with a retro atmosphere and rock'n'roll music. the breakfast also had a large variety of food. it was a wholesome experience and highly recommended to all fellow travelers.

Communal shower lacked privacy and comfort.

The cabins are cozy with well-equipped communal areas. Hot spring hot tub is a nice addition. Convenient location for travelers heading north from Reykjavik. Helpful and friendly host family.
