I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, as it was situated in the middle of nowhere, with beautiful surroundings. It was a great place to stop on my trip along the South coast. The hotel had nice facilities, including hot tubs where I could relax and take in the stunning views. The breakfast was delicious, especially the waffles made with the convenient waffle maker. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, offering a wake-up call in case the Northern Lights appeared. Unfortunately, they didn't, but I appreciated the gesture.

The entrance and glass hallway to the rooms was nice. We loved how it added a modern touch to the hotel. The hotel's location on the golden circle route was a plus, as it made it convenient for us to explore the area. Additionally, the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, ensuring that there was something for everyone's taste.

The rooms were a bit dated and could use some modernization. The lack of an elevator in the old wing was inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage.

The bed and pillows provided a great night's sleep. The hotel's location was peaceful, away from the main road. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with a fantastic view of the volcano. Despite some minor issues at breakfast, overall, it was an enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel for a quiet and comfortable experience during the Golden Circle tour.

The restaurant had outstanding food, rivaling even fancy NYC restaurants. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options. We loved the hot tub and sauna, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location was great for seeing the northern lights, and the surrounding views were stunning. We are definitely coming back!

The service in the restaurant was excellent, and they even accommodated our vegan food preferences. The hot tub and sauna were a highlight of our stay. The rooms were cozy, and the bathroom had heated floors. we enjoyed our time at Fosshotel and would recommend it.
