We stayed at Golden Circle Apartments for 4 nights while exploring the Gullfoss and Geysir area. The apartment was spacious, bright and clean, with stunning views of the lake. We loved seeing Geysir puffing away in the distance. The location was perfect, with walking trails nearby and a cool bar at the hostel across the street. It felt secluded and safe, which was great for our young kids to play and crawl around. The rooms were dark at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the convenience of having a garage with a supermarket and cafe just 2 minutes away.

Fantastic 8-day stay in a lovely apartment with excellent surroundings. The village is quiet but offers plenty of activities for everyone, especially water fun and ball games. Perfect for families and longer stays. The apartment had cooking facilities, which saved us loads on eating out in Iceland. The location was great, close to shops and a posh hot springs center. Easy access to the sights of the Golden Circle, and plenty of free parking on-site.

Access was a bit tricky as the key code was only provided late, which could be inconvenient if you don't have internet access while en route. The apartment numbers were the same for each block, causing confusion.

For the price we paid, the value was excellent and the room itself was great - clean, spacious, and with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The location was perfect, within walking distance to Laugarvatn Fontana Spa and easily accessible to all the best spots in the area. The staff went above and beyond to quickly resolve a mix-up with our booking, even in the middle of the night.

More breakfast choices would have been appreciated.

The facilities were very basic. the TV didn't work and the bunkbed in the smaller bedroom was extremely small.

Had a lovely New Year's break! the apartment had stunning views of the lake and the mountains. the large windows brought a lot of light into the space. the breakfast was a nice touch and the staff were friendly. We appreciated the complimentary wine and chocolates too!

The location of these apartments is stunning, with snow-covered mountains in the distance and a beautiful lake nearby. Guests also receive a 10% discount to enjoy Fontana, a spa geothermal center located close to the lake. Additionally, the apartments are conveniently located near all the famous sights of the Golden Circle.

The cleanliness of the apartments was severely lacking. Guests complained about finding hair all over the floors and beds, as well as dog hair on the sofas.

The small apartment had fabulous lake views, was quiet and comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities for self-catering. The location was convenient for visiting the Golden Circle area, and the self check-in and check-out made things easy.
