We stayed at this cozy Scandinavian guesthouse during our trip in the region, and it was a delightful experience. The location was convenient, with a liquor store and supermarket nearby. The view of Kukujfell volcano from our room was breathtaking. Although there was no parking, we could temporarily leave our car at the door and park in a public parking lot just a short distance away. The traditional house was clean, warm, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious shower room. The friendly staff provided us with clear directions and added a local touch to our stay. Highly recommended!

I stayed at a hostel in a quaint town on the Snaefellesness Peninsula for two days. The location was excellent, with views of Kirkjufell mountain from my room and a church just behind the building. The staff were really helpful and friendly, assisting with parking and providing information about the area. The room was decently sized and the kitchen had all the utensils I needed. I also appreciated the nearby supermarket and petrol station. it was a comfortable and affordable stay.

Grundarfjordur Guesthouse is a hidden gem! Despite being called a hostel, all the rooms were private and beautifully decorated. the room size was perfect and I loved the cozy atmosphere. It was definitely one of the highlights of our 8-day road trip in Iceland. the location was convenient, close to the center of town, and the bed was comfortable. the heated room was a bonus, especially during the colder nights. the kitchen equipment was also great, making meal prep easy. the check-in process was quick and convenient, using a box system. a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Grundarfjordur, exploring the beautiful Snæfellsnes area. the weather was unpredictable, but that didn't dampen our spirits. the hostelapartments on the seafront were perfect, with everything we needed and just steps away from the delicious Bjargarsteinn restaurant. Jonnie, the host, really hit the nail on the head with these comfortable accommodations. the room was spacious, with a small sink, and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. the receptionist was extremely helpful, and the surroundings were peaceful. It's an excellent stopover before taking the ferry or exploring the area. Highly recommended!
