I loved the spacious and spotless rooms with comfortable beds and sofas. The central location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. It was great to have access to the fridge and kitchen facilities. as a tourist, it was an excellent experience.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the city's business district and just a short walk away from the harbor. the entrance and hallways looked recently updated, giving a modern and welcoming feel. the kitchen was clean and well-stocked, making it convenient for any guests who wanted to cook their own meals during their stay.

There were a few downsides to our experience. the cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired.

I recently stayed at Guesthouse in the city center for 3 nights. The location couldn't be better for exploring the city, and despite facing a main road, there was no street noise in our room. The room itself was spacious enough for 3 adults and very comfortable. Additionally, having a bakery downstairs and a great café across the street was a convenient bonus.

Totally recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse in Akureyri! The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals. The hot coffee in the morning was a great way to start the day. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as the noisy streets at night and the small size of the rooms, overall I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and friendly staff.

We stayed at a lovely guesthouse situated on the main street, right in the heart of everything. the girl working there was incredibly kind and helped us with our early morning arrival by providing a solution for our luggage. the bed was comfortable and there was a small kitchen where we could make coffee and have our own breakfast. there was a bakery on the ground floor that opened early, making it convenient for breakfast. We also found plenty of great restaurants nearby, offering a variety of cuisines such as cafe, Western, Indian, Turkish, and even a famous hot dog store. the room had a modern feel with sufficient heating and storage space for our luggage. the kitchen was fully equipped for those who prefer to cook their own meals at home. Parking on the street wasn't an issue for us, especially in the evenings when we were mostly out exploring. the room itself was extremely cute and cozy, with a nice view of the streets and a small round plaza. the bright walls, decorations, and nice furniture created a pleasant atmosphere. the staff was also very polite and accommodating.

The location was lit, right in the heart of downtown. We hit up Hlíðarfjall Ski Resort, which was only a 10-minute drive away, and it was sick! The slopes were gnarly, and the views were epic. We also partied like rockstars at the nearby rock concert, just a hop, skip, and jump from the guesthouse. The energy was off the charts!

The only thing we wished for was a more happening nightlife scene right near the guesthouse. While the rock concert was awesome, it would have been even cooler if there were more clubs or bars in the immediate area where we could continue the fun.

noise from party street and thin walls

The location was perfect, right on the bakery downstairs and close to various shops and restaurants. The room we were upgraded to was really pretty, with enormous windows offering a great view of the street. The shared kitchen was well equipped and conveniently located. We were also provided with free earplugs to help with any potential noise from the central location.

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse! the location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the city center, with shops and restaurants just a stone's throw away. Despite being in such a central location, our room was surprisingly peaceful and quiet. the bedroom was spacious and comfortably accommodated the two of us. the cleanliness of the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom was impeccable, and we found all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. the staff were also very friendly and made us feel welcome. We particularly appreciated the freshly brewed coffee each morning. it was great value for money and we highly recommend it.

We really got excellent value for our money at Guesthouse. The room was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our family of four. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city and close to great dining options. The staff treated us very well, providing helpful information and ensuring our stay was enjoyable.

The breakfast menu could have had a bit more variety.
