One of the rooms had a decor that was a bit outdated and not to my taste, but luckily the other room we had was much more modern. However, it seems like the room decor is luck of the draw.

I recently stayed at Guesthouse Hamar for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, right in the center of town, with friendly locals and easy access to everything. The guesthouse itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a helpful host who made my stay even better. The ability to control the heating in my room was a great feature, and the breakfast was outstanding. The decor was inspiring, and the memory foam mattress provided the best sleep I've ever had. a fantastic stay.

The Hamar Guesthouse is in a very convenient location, just a short walk from the ferry. The staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The shared refrigerator in the hall was a nice addition. The breakfast offered a continental spread with delicious pancakes.
