We loved the isolation of Guesthouse Nypugardar, perfect for party people seeking a peaceful getaway. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The views of the mountains and glaciers from our room and the common area were breathtaking. Seeing the northern lights from our room was a magical experience. it was an amazing value for money in Iceland.

Best spot in Iceland, feels like home! We went all the way around the Ring, and our favorite stay was here. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. Exceedingly caring hosts. Clean home and excellent food. Perfect for viewing northern lights. We hope to stay here again in the future.

The only downside to the place was not being able to eat our own food in the common area, even though there was no one else there. It would have been nice to have a cozy place to hang out and enjoy the views.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even accommodating our late arrival and changing our booking due to bad weather. The room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed interacting with the farm animals on the property. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at this charming guesthouse in Hofn for one night. The en-suite cabin rooms were spacious and cozy, exceeding my expectations. The views from both the rooms and the dining room were absolutely breathtaking. The natural scenery and tranquil atmosphere were truly unique and made for a memorable experience. The house was clean and the breakfast provided was delicious. The owner was incredibly helpful and even gave us valuable advice for traveling in icy conditions. a fantastic stay worth every penny!

The authentic Icelandic home-cooked lamb chop dinner was a delightful culinary experience. The breakfast spread was impressive, especially the incredibly fresh and crispy brown bread. The staff was friendly, helpful, and even shared insider tips on visiting local ice caves without a tour. The guesthouse was immaculately clean and comfortable, making our stay truly enjoyable. Plus, the convenient location was ideal for viewing the Northern Lights.

We stayed at the guesthouse for 2 nights and enjoyed the quiet location with stunning views of glaciers and the ocean. The authentic Icelandic home-cooked meal of lamb chop was delicious, and breakfast had the best, freshest brown bread we've ever had. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served good food at reasonable prices. The rooms, although basic, were comfortable and all had views of the ocean, glaciers.

The views from the guesthouse were absolutely breathtaking! I couldn't get enough of the stunning scenery surrounding the hotel. the location was also very convenient for exploring the beautiful Southeastern region of Iceland. It was the perfect base for my adventures.

The WiFi only worked in the common room and even there, it wasn't very reliable. Another downside was that the breakfast catered more towards the European palate, which was a bit different for me as an American.

The room was cozy and comfortable, with a nice bed and a clean bathroom. We loved the fact that it was part of a sheep farm, and we enjoyed the company of the friendly animals. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious and some of the best we had in Iceland. we had a great time at this guesthouse and would highly recommend it.
