We loved the isolation of Guesthouse Nypugardar, perfect for party people seeking a peaceful getaway. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The views of the mountains and glaciers from our room and the common area were breathtaking. Seeing the northern lights from our room was a magical experience. it was an amazing value for money in Iceland.

Best spot in Iceland, feels like home! We went all the way around the Ring, and our favorite stay was here. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. Exceedingly caring hosts. Clean home and excellent food. Perfect for viewing northern lights. We hope to stay here again in the future.

The only downside to the place was not being able to eat our own food in the common area, even though there was no one else there. It would have been nice to have a cozy place to hang out and enjoy the views.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and even shared insider tips on visiting local ice caves without a tour. The guesthouse was immaculately clean and comfortable, making our stay truly enjoyable. Plus, the convenient location was ideal for viewing the Northern Lights.

The authentic Icelandic home-cooked meal of lamb chop was delicious, and breakfast had the best, freshest brown bread we've ever had. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served good food at reasonable prices. The rooms, although basic, were comfortable and all had views of the ocean, glaciers.

The views from the guesthouse were absolutely breathtaking! I couldn't get enough of the stunning scenery surrounding the hotel. The location was also very convenient for exploring the beautiful Southeastern region of Iceland. It was the perfect base for my adventures. I really enjoyed the interactions with the farm animals, it added a special touch to my stay.

The WiFi only worked in the common room and even there, it wasn't very reliable. I had trouble staying connected and it was a bit frustrating.
