Cozy spot with friendly vibes

What a charming place! Super spacious rooms with comfy beds and tons of windows for ocean views. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Loved the tasty breakfast spread—I ate way too much! Only weird thing was a bit of an odd smell when we came back inside, but everything else was pretty perfect.

The room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, just a short drive from the Glacier Lagoon. The breakfast was delicious, with some unique Icelandic delicacies. Despite a few minor inconveniences like separate buildings for reception/rooms/breakfast and limited toiletries, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

What an amazing place! We stayed there for a week while exploring the stunning landscapes of Iceland. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our safety during a severe windstorm, even delivering breakfast to our room and driving us to their restaurant for dinner. The lamb dish was absolutely delicious. The location is perfect, right off the Ring Road, and the views of the sea and mountains are breathtaking. We also enjoyed free admission to their museum and the convenience of having coffee and tea available in the auxiliary buildings.

The hotel is strategically located for glacier walking and visiting Jökursarlón, making it perfect for our needs. The rooms were spacious and had great attention to detail, with ample counter and desk space, as well as a charming armoire. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent, with coffee and tea available in the lobby of our building.

The check-in process was a bit confusing and could be improved.

The breakfast had plenty of options and was very good. The location was perfect, as it was close to the glacier lake and offered stunning mountain views. We were also delighted to discover that there was free parking available.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and other attractions on the south coast. the rooms were spacious and clean, with beautiful views of the water and mountains. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served delicious meals with a generous breakfast spread.

The lack of toiletries in the shower was a disappointment, as only hand soap was provided. Additionally, we were unable to adjust the room temperature, and it was set to a chilly 22.5 degrees Celsius, which may not be comfortable for everyone.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely family-owned hotel in Iceland. the location was perfect, being so close to Jokulsarlon, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our family apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet included a delicious selection of homemade bread and Icelandic specialties like pickled herring. the value for money was excellent, and we would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

This hotel is a hidden gem just off the road overlooking the sea. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a good kitchen, including free coffee. The private bathrooms are excellent, with large washrooms. The breakfast includes delicious pancakes and home-cooked products from the farm, catering even to vegans or those allergic to milk.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Hali. the location was perfect for our New Year's getaway. It was conveniently situated near Jokulsarlon lagoon and offered easy access to the ice caves tour, which was an incredible experience. Secondly, the staff were extremely friendly and approachable, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Additionally, we also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea in the common area.

The hotel's furnishings and room design had a somewhat cheap and dormitory-like feel to them. The beds were particularly uncomfortable, as they were actually two singles pushed together.

We had a tired and rainy day of sightseeing and were unsure about our cabin, but Hali Inn pleasantly surprised us. The friendly staff provided all the info we needed, and the spacious cabin with ocean views was a breath of fresh air. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hearty dinner and delicious breakfast were the perfect fuel for our next adventure. I would gladly stay here again anytime!

The hotel's location is perfect for visiting the glacier lagoon, as it is very close and only minutes away. The staff was great and gave us excellent recommendations, ensuring we had a great boat tour. The dinner and breakfast at the hotel were delicious.

As foreign tourists, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hali Country Hotel. The friendly staff went above and beyond to cater to our gluten-free dietary needs, providing separate offerings for breakfast and our packed lunch. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the common areas for lounging and enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee. The beautiful views of the mountains and ocean were a pleasant surprise. The hotel is also conveniently located near Glacial Lagoon and Diamond Beach.

Located across the ocean, the hotel offers amazing views of the lagoon and beautiful nature. Rooms are clean and comfortable with great bathrooms. The staff is very helpful and there is a museum on site that is worth a visit. Breakfast is also solid with great bread and good options.

The hotel restaurant can be expensive and there aren't many other dinner options in the area.
