Friendly and well-maintained establishment with a community feel. Next to a fancy restaurant and across from the harbor. Kitchen had leftover food from travelers and a take-a-penny system. Helpful and available staff. Good breakfast and scenic view from room.

The team at the hotel was very welcoming and helpful, which made our stay enjoyable. the location of the hotel was also great, as it was conveniently located near the harbor. the hotel offered a large and cozy kitchen with plenty of dishes and cutlery for preparing meals, which was a nice bonus.

We stayed on the basement floor, and although the showers were surprisingly very clean, they were not very welcoming due to ongoing renovations. there was no sink in the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

The hostel is beautifully decorated with charming armchairs, cupboards, and pictures, giving it a lot of character. The cafe downstairs, Cafe NU, is the heart of the hostel and is perfect for breakfast or enjoying a coffee. The shared facilities, including toilets and showers, are clean and provided with shampoo and shower gel. The location of the hostel is ideal, facing the port and harbor. highly recommended!

During our Christmas stay, we absolutely loved the stunning view from our room. the view of the lighthouse was truly breathtaking! Another great aspect of our stay was how clean and comfortable the hostel was. the owner was also very friendly and helpful, giving us lots of information about the town and making us feel welcome.

One downside of our stay was that there was quite a bit of noise from the rooms on the floor above us. It made it a bit difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep.

The communal showers, kitchen, and dining room were located in the basement/ground floor and were clean and well-equipped. Our family room had a balcony with stunning views of the town and harbor. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the free parking and Wi-Fi offered during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming hostel just steps away from the ferry. The location was perfect, with easy access to the harbor and some great restaurants. The staff were helpful and gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The hostel itself was well-maintained and felt cozy. We also appreciated the blackout curtains in our room during the summer solstice. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and there was even a mini fridge with beverages available for purchase. we highly recommend this hostel for a memorable stay in a beautiful location.

The hotel had a homely and clean feel to it, and the bunk bedded rooms were basic but affordable. the staff were excellent and the location was super convenient for exploring the town. I would highly recommend it to others.

The showers in the basement had a weird setup with concrete floors and a shower curtain door, which didn't offer much privacy. Additionally, there weren't enough showers for all the guests.

We had an exceptional stay at a lovely hostel in a great location. The owner went out of his way to show us where to park for the best view of the Northern lights, resulting in a truly unforgettable experience. The hostel's fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook delicious meals, and the proximity to Bonus supermarket was a convenient bonus. The staff were excellent and the overall atmosphere was pleasing. Definitely recommend this place!

I recently stayed at a lovely guesthouse in Stykkisholmur for a few nights. The location was perfect, with easy access to the ferry and a stunning view of the harbor from my room. The staff were trustworthy and friendly, and I appreciated the convenience of being able to enjoy a beer and settle the bill upon check-out. The decor was charming and everything was impeccably clean. I also enjoyed a beautiful sunset from my room and had a peaceful hike to the lighthouse. Thank you for the warm welcome and excellent stay. I will definitely be back in the future.
