This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, with bus stops right outside making it convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a couch area to relax. Additionally, the breakfast offered a variety of options including eggs, waffles, fruit, toast.

The only minor issue was that the room had a slight odor upon opening the door. However, this could have been due to some guests' personal hygiene habits and not a fault of the room itself.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, situated right next to the main shopping street and a major bus stop. There's a 24/7 supermarket across the street, making it convenient for any last-minute needs. Additionally, the hotel offers complimentary coffee and tea during breakfast hours, even if breakfast is not included. This is a great perk for guests looking to save some money. I had a fantastic stay at Hlemmur Square! The dorm room I stayed in was absolutely beautiful and modern, with ample space between the beds and black-out curtains for the midnight sun. I loved the large storage bins under the bunks, labeled 'top' and 'bottom' for easy organization. The included duvet was a great touch. Each bunk had its own reading light and outlet, and the wifi worked well throughout the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Hlemmur Square for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Reykjavik.

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights while exploring the city and it exceeded my expectations. The help desk staff was amazing, helping me book activities and giving me directions. The facilities were much better than expected, with spacious and private showers and plenty of personal storage space. The staff, especially Daniel, were super friendly and accommodating. Happy hour was a great way to save money on drinks, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking.

The walls in the hotel were paper thin, and this greatly affected our overall experience. We had the misfortune of staying during a time when a large group of noisy guests checked in, causing a constant disturbance.
