No lockers available!!! Kitchen lacked basic items like can openers and spatulas!!! Squeaky bunk beds might disrupt your sleep!!! It was frustrating to pay extra for bedding!!! A few toilets ran out of toilet paper!!!

The water reeks of sulfur!!! The sinks are too small for basic hygiene tasks, and the kitchen can have dirty dishes left around since cleaning isn't enforced!!! The beds creak loudly, disrupting sleep!!!

the reception staff was definitly too strict with check-in times, and waiting outside for almost an hour was really a treat, not! i couldn’t believe there were no lockers and the beds creaked like the haunted mansion. a complimentary bottle of water would ve been nice, but i guess that’s too much to ask in such a fancy establishment?

Enjoyed our stay in a charming family room! The unique design with separate toilets and showers was incredibly convenient during peak morning hours. The friendly staff made check-in easy, and we loved the delightful common areas. Bring your kitchen essentials as some items were missing. Perfect location for exploring Myvatn!

The kitchen is proper lekker, well-stocked and spacious! Plus, those views from the dining area over the lava field are just jaw-dropping. Enjoyed brekkie with a killer backdrop! Staff were super helpful and kind too, made us feel right at home, sharp-sharp check-in!

Just a bit stinky from the natural water heating, but nothing too hectic. Nothing to spoil the vibe, really.

Staying in the family room brought us together the kids loved the spacious area to play while we could cook in the big kitchen. The open window made the summer nights bearable even with a little spider on the ceiling every night it added some excitement to our stay as the kids were brave enough to deal with it.

It wasn't exactly a bargain for what you get but considering the location it was still reasonable.

Staying here was a treat! The family room was cozy, perfect for nighttime family bonding. The well-equipped kitchen was a dream, and the dining area offered stunning views of the lava fields. Clean spaces made everything easy. Just a tip, bring your own kitchen gadgets to enhance your cooking experience!

the toilets were slightly worn out. but the location was fantastic and not too far from the main attractions. the shared room had individual lights for each bed, and the kitchen was very spacious for cooking meals. i slept well on the firm mattress!

Great free Wi-Fi, needed it for planning hikes. Room felt cramped, though.
