Everything was spot on.

The location of the hotel near the lake provides a stunning view and a peaceful atmosphere. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery while relaxing in your room or while having breakfast in the morning. The hotel also has a picnic table by the lake, where you can have a delicious skyr breakfast. the rooms are clean and well-kept, providing a comfortable stay.

The hotel's beds are not very comfortable, which can make it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The sagging middle and lack of support may cause discomfort, especially for guests with back issues.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The view across the lake was fabulous, and being by the lake was a definite highlight. The room was clean and adequate, and the staff were very pleasant. The hotel facilities, including the large lounge room with a television and games, were a nice touch. Additionally, the location of the hotel near the lake was incredibly convenient.

Additionally, the breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of tasty options to choose from.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. the lack of an elevator made it a bit challenging to carry our suitcases to the second floor.

We had a stunning view from our room at Hotel Edda, overlooking the beautiful lake. The location was perfect for exploring the Golden Circle, and we found it easily. The beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Plus, the cleanliness was top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

My Easter weekend in Iceland was made even more special thanks to a charming homely hotel. The stunning view of the lake from the window of my cozy room was the best way to start my day. The location was perfect as it was just a few minutes walk to the thermal baths, where I spent some relaxing time. The hotel was in close proximity to the local restaurant, which offered mouth-watering authentic Icelandic food. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the large lounge room where I met other like-minded travelers and spent time playing games. The hotel staff was warm and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The beds seemed a little worn out and could have been better. It was a bit inconvenient to have to drag the bedding onto the floor as the mattress was sagging in the middle. The staff was a bit difficult to find when I arrived, and the hotel felt deserted, but this didn't impact my stay negatively. These minor issues aside, I still think this hotel offered great value for the price and was a truly authentic Icelandic experience in a beautiful location.
