The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. the room was clean and comfortable, with a working TV that even had BBC channels, which was a rare find in Iceland. Compared to other places we stayed during our Ring Road trip, the room at Hotel F. was spacious and had a great view of the extensive fields and mountains. the continental breakfast was delicious, featuring many items sourced from their own farm. We also loved the fact that there were horses and other farm animals right on the property. the location was fantastic, with easy access to the Westman Islands and close proximity to stunning waterfalls like Glugafoss. An added bonus was the common area with puzzles, a pool table, and games for evening entertainment. a great stay!

As bike riders, we loved the stunning landscape surrounding the hotel, perfect for enjoying peaceful rides. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome, offering helpful tips and even letting us know when the Northern Lights were visible. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade breads and jams.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Hotel Fljotshlid! My partner and I were exploring the South Coast of Iceland and stayed here for 3 nights. The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with maps for the Golden Circle and even helping us book a tour. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location was perfect for our activities. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights two nights in a row while walking around the property at night. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommend!

We got great value for our money at Hotel Fljotshlid. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was absolutely stunning with a stream, Icelandic horses, and a volcano and glacier as the backdrop. The staff were friendly and gracious, ensuring we had a lovely stay.

The morning meal could have been better with more vegetarian and non-lamb options available.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The best aspects were the charming and clean rooms with a retro vibe, the beautiful grounds, and the opportunity to visit the sheep. The breakfast was exquisite, with a variety of homemade jams, chocolate spread, and peanut butter, as well as good coffee. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us, even saving dinner when we arrived late. We were impressed by Frans, who juggled multiple jobs without any signs of being bothered, and Nina, who led a memorable horseback riding experience for our family.

the view of the mountains from our room and during breakfast and dinner was breathtaking. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the farm-to-table food was exceptional. We dined at the hotel every night and were impressed by the quality and flavors. the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the overall atmosphere was cozy.
