The rooms were clean and cozy, with great wifi for staying connected. The hotel restaurant served fresh and delicious food, including fresh waffles for breakfast. The overall atmosphere was warm and cozy, making us feel right at home.

We stayed at Hotel Kala for a weekend getaway and it was fantastic. The continental breakfast had everything we needed for a full day of sightseeing. We were lucky to be upgraded to a beautiful suite with a big deep tub and an outdoor geothermal hot tub that was heavenly. The convenient location along Route 1, stylish lobby, and spacious rooms made our stay even more enjoyable. Great value for money and our favorite hotel of the trip.

We loved the cozy rooms, the northern lights, and the food in the restaurant. The staff tipped us off about private hot pots without school groups. The gym and hot tubs seemed nice. The bar had happy hour with half-price craft beers. The dinner buffet was impressive with a range of fresh, high-quality food. The staff was friendly, thorough, and caring. They even returned a forgotten bathing suit to the US. The views from the window were pretty and there was a natural hot spring.

We stayed at Hotel Katla for one night after a glacier hike in Vatnajokull National Park. The hotel was clean, new, and stylish. The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The wifi was great and the food at the restaurant was fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed the waffles at breakfast and the cozy atmosphere throughout our stay.

This hotel is conveniently located between Reykjavik and Jokulsarlon, making it a great base for exploring both areas. It is also close to Reynisfjara Beach, where we enjoyed stunning black sand and magnificent rock formations. We were thrilled to discover a famous lobster restaurant nearby, where we had a delicious meal. The hotel's proximity to puffin colonies was a highlight, as we loved watching them fly in to roost in the evening. The rooms were modern and spacious, with comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms. The breakfast provided a variety of options and the service was excellent.

The hotel's spa pool was too cold to enjoy during our stay in February, which was a disappointment.

my recent stay in vik i myrdal was great, and this time at keahotels was even better! the large, comfy rooms and helpful staff made it a top choice. parking was easy, and the breakfast and evening buffet were delicious. highly recommend!
