Motivated and attentive manager, delicious dinner and breakfast options. Clean room, comfortable bed, and coffee provided. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in bad weather. Highly recommended!

After a long drive through the beautiful Icelandic countryside, I was relieved to arrive at a cozy hotel nestled in a quiet area. The spacious and comfortable room provided a much-needed rest. The continental buffet breakfast was a delightful way to start the day. The hotel also proactively informed me about the road conditions, showing their care for guests. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Stadarborg. the staff was super accommodating and the location was quiet. the room was comfortable, with a strong and enjoyable shower. the breakfast was delicious, with a great selection including homemade jams. the inn-keep, a lovely Hispanic lady, was friendly despite the language barrier. If you're looking for a great place to stay on the east coast, this is it!

The hosts at this hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even though there was a language barrier. They made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. the dinner and breakfast provided were delicious and satisfying. One of the best things about our experience was the opportunity to go horse riding, which was an exciting and unique activity offered by the hotel.

The rooms at the hotel were quite small, which was a bit inconvenient for our family. Although the hotel staff tried to make up for it by offering a larger room, it still didn't provide enough space for our liking.

The hotel is nestled in a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of noisy cities and roads, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing stay. It is conveniently located near all necessary shops, making it easy to access any essentials you might need during your stay. Although the decorations in the room were a little timeworn, and there were some communication difficulties with some of the staff not being proficient in English, I still managed to get by with a phone call to the owner. However, the bathroom was quite small, making it difficult to maneuver around and close the door.
