Staying at this lodge felt like a cozy family retreat with clean rooms and a great breakfast. I appreciated the multiple WCs available making it convenient for all guests. the proximity to the Highlands attractions was a huge plus. the breakfast was a delicious Icelandic spread, and the advice from the morning ranger was invaluable. Although the room was basic, the comfortable bed and sauna were nice touches. However, the overpricing and lack of amenities such as a fridge were drawbacks. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for its location and warm atmosphere.

My stay at Highland Center Hrauneyjar was for exploring Landmannalaugar, and it lasted three nights. the staff's kindness was exceptional, going above and beyond to reunite me with my forgotten shoes. the ranger's advice was invaluable for safe hiking. the common room offered convenient late-night snacks, and the parking area was spacious. A good breakfast and comfortable rooms made for a pleasant stay. the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights added to the overall appeal.
