I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right next to the harbour and close to the road that takes you out to the ocean for a breathtaking view of the area. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities, including the bathrooms and showers, were in excellent condition. The staff was incredibly pleasant and provided me with great recommendations for nearby restaurants. The breakfast provided had a good variety of options and was included in the price.

Stayed at an amazing place in a beautiful location next to the docks. Check-in was easy, the room was clean, tidy, and had super comfy beds. the shower and bathroom facilities, although not private, were good. the shared kitchen was accessible and well-equipped, allowing us to see other guests using it. We felt well taken care of by the friendly and helpful staff at Guesthouse Hvammur.

The view of the harbor was absolutely stunning! It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, the breakfast food was delicious, and there was a great variety to choose from.

There were a few downsides during my stay. Firstly, the fire safety of the accommodation was questionable, as I didn't see any fire alarms or fire extinguishers.

The location of the guesthouse was great, right in the center by the marina. It was convenient for exploring the area and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. the price was also very reasonable, especially considering the expensive accommodation options in the rest of Iceland.

One of the biggest downsides was the limited number of bathrooms. There was only one shared bathroom for a large number of rooms, which meant long waits and inconvenience.

Stayed at this guesthouse for a couple of nights during our motorcycle trip around Iceland. The town of Höfn is charming and the location of the guesthouse was excellent with convenient parking right outside. The living space was big and clean, providing a comfortable stay. We arrived late driving from Vik.just a little before midnight.although we didn't notify the reception lady of our late arrival, she greeted us with a smile and with such kindness.thank you. The view was nice, and we were able to park right in front of the property. Inside, it was warm and cozy, and the kitchen had all the necessary amenities.
