Great location for exploring restaurants and Black Sand Beach. Modern rooms and inviting lobby. Nice bar area. Highly recommended for a group of friends going out at night.

Disappointing lack of view.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, right by the black sand beach and in the center of town. The staff was helpful in pointing out surrounding attractions and made me feel welcome. The hotel was extremely clean and had modern facilities. Additionally, the breakfast spread was amazing.

Almost perfect, but.

I recently stayed at Icelandair Hotel in Vik for a short trip to explore the area. The warm reception and friendly staff immediately made us feel welcome. The rooms with sea view provided stunning vistas of the sea stacks and we even got to witness a breathtaking sunrise. The hotel's convenient location in the middle of Vik made it easy to explore the town. The modern and clean rooms, along with the great shower, added to the overall comfort of our stay. Finally, I have to commend the staff member Marek, who went above and beyond to give us valuable recommendations for activities and dining options in the area.

Totally recommend this hotel.

Nothing, it is perfect.

This hotel was amazing. the location is perfect, right in the center of Vik and across the highway from the black sand beach. Secondly, the room I stayed in was lovely, with a view of the mountain right out back, and a beautiful peaceful view of nature. Lastly, breakfast was included in my rate and served with varieties of food.

Spent Christmas at a brand new hotel and it was fantastic! the rooms were spacious and warm, and the bathroom was a good size too. the hotel had a stylish and comfortable design throughout, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. the restaurant served delicious food, and the bar was a great place to relax. the best part was the location, with the black beach just a short distance away. It was the perfect spot to break up a long drive.

The only downside was the lack of options for snacks or late-night cravings. It would have been great if they had a vending machine or offered some snacks for purchase.

Beautiful design in rooms. Friendly staff, tasty food. Comfy and warm, good wifi. Provided toiletries unlike most Icelandic places. Front rooms have nice view of stacks and petrol station.

The location is perfect, right off highway 1 and convenient to nearby attractions. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and the service was top-notch. The rooms are modern and clean, with a unique view of the beach. The breakfast spread was delicious and had a great variety of options.

The value for money at Icelandair Hotel Vik was excellent. The room was modern, new, and beautiful, with a lovely bathroom and luxurious L'Occitane shower products. The hotel's location was convenient, just a short walk to the black sand beach, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better at the hotel was more variety in the breakfast items, but overall it was still a pleasant dining experience.

The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful during my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable experience. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with heated floors that were perfect for the chilly climate. Additionally, the hotel's location right across from the ocean offered stunning views and a peaceful environment.

The only downside I experienced during my stay was the expense of the on-site restaurant. Although there were other options nearby, it would have been more convenient to have a more affordable dining option available on the property.
