We loved the spacious, clean, and stylish top floor apartment at Mengi Apartments. The apartment was warm, quiet, and beautiful, perfect for families with children. Jon Thor, the host, was responsive and provided helpful recommendations. The apartment is centrally located, close to shopping streets, cafes, and restaurants. The comfortable bed and good wifi made our stay even more enjoyable. The nifty turntable and records with Icelandic music were a delightful treat.

Felt right at home, everything was taken care of seamlessly.

Located in the heart of the city, it is just a short walk to the main shopping street, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. The convenience of this central location allows easy access to all that the city has to offer. the apartments are well-furnished, clean, and comfortable, providing a cozy stay. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a record player with Icelandic music, spacious rooms, and essential toiletries. The friendly and helpful owner adds to the positive experience.

Some minor maintenance issues were reported, such as difficulty finding the key and a hanging light in one of the rooms. However, the owner addressed these concerns and assured that they would be resolved.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. It was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the downtown area and just down the road from the big church. We could easily explore everything this city had to offer. The host was very kind and accommodating, even offering us a complimentary late check out. we had a wonderful experience.

We were a large group of friends and the apartment had plenty of space for all of us. The beds were incredibly comfortable, perfect for after a long flight. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of downtown with a great bakery nearby for fresh bread every morning. The apartment had a full kitchen which was great for saving money on meals, and the staff were quick to respond to any questions we had via WhatsApp. the apartment was clean, well-equipped, and in a convenient location.

We felt safe walking around at night and had no complaints.

Our two-night stay at Mengi was great! The location is amazing, and the apartment was so clean and nicely furnished. Nicer than our own apartment back home! The host, Garoar Snorri, was excellent. The apartment itself was outstanding. Superb location, lots of space for the family of four we had, and the kitchen, bathroom, dining area. were all very good.

The bakery next door was a delightful bonus, offering delicious breakfast options. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Despite a few minor issues like temperamental TV and oversized lampshades, our overall experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend these apartments for anyone visiting the area. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return in the future.

You can't beat the location of this place! It's right in the heart of the city, just a short walk away from the main shopping street, restaurants, cafes, and the supermarket. the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, even allowing us to check in early. the apartment itself was cozy and had everything we needed, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. the heating and hot water were excellent, keeping us warm during our winter stay. the big bathroom and comfortable sofa bed were also a plus.

The check-in coordination could be a bit tricky, as the signage is small and we didn't have much access to our phones. However, the host was quick to return our call and provide clear instructions.
