The Minniborgir Cottages & Restaurant is located in a secluded area right in the center of the golden circle, making it the perfect base for exploring the nearby Geysir and waterfalls. The cottages are clean, well-equipped, and offer a self-catering option, making it convenient for families with small children. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The hot tubs offer a relaxing experience, and guests have even had the chance to witness the stunning Northern Lights right from the comfort of their accommodations.

The numbering system for the cottages can be a bit difficult to navigate, especially at night. The dark color of the numbers and their placement on the house or fence can make it challenging to locate the correct cottage.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottages. the hot tub was always hot and available, and we really enjoyed relaxing in it. the cottages themselves were clean, well-equipped, and cozy. the staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. We loved the location, as it allowed us to easily access some of Iceland's best attractions. our experience at Minniborgir Cottages & Restaurant was wonderful.

loved the cozy and modernized wooden cottage in central South Iceland. Perfect location for exploring volcanoes, waterfalls, and beaches. The heating was great and the cost was reasonable. Will definitely choose this on our next trip to Iceland!

Hot tub was scolding hot.

Two-bedroom cottage with spacious living/dining room, well-equipped kitchen, and hot tub. Clear instructions for filling/turning on hot tub. Receptionists available to help. Remember to drain after use to prevent dead flies. Perfect location in countryside, easy to reach.

My Christmas stay at the cottages was absolutely wonderful. The location in the Golden Circle was perfect for exploring the beautiful Icelandic countryside. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub, which was a perfect way to relax in the cold evenings. having a kitchen in the cottage was a great advantage, as we could prepare our own meals and save money on expensive restaurants.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. The beds were quite small and not very comfortable for two adults.

We had an amazing time at Minniborgir Cottages & Restaurant. The chalets were well-equipped and perfect for our group. The communal building was a great bonus for us to enjoy meals together. The location was ideal for exploring the Golden Circle. The hot tub was a relaxing treat after a day of sightseeing. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Minniborgir Cottages & Restaurant.

Amazing value for money in a very pretty and convenient setting to explore the golden circle area. Comfortable double bed and bunk bed, fully-equipped kitchen, and breakfast included. The service by the staff is exceptional, and they pay attention to detail.

The cozy and comfortable accommodation made us feel at home. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our cottage and found a hot tub ready for us to jump into. the area surrounding the cottages was so clean, we felt like we were in the middle of the countryside, though we were still close to key attractions. the complimentary service was superb, one evening staff took care of my mother-in-law's allergies and provided her with the best grilled lamb she'd had in all of Iceland.

The hot tub was unfortunately not very private, which was a downside as we wanted to stargaze and spot Northern Lights, but couldn't because of the flickering lamps. the shower head kept falling off constantly, which could be improved.
