As a tourist, I loved the convenient location along Route 1. Cosy rooms, nice shower and free coffee. Friendly hosts, family owned & operated. Delicious food at the restaurant. Great halfway point between Akureyri and Reykjavík.

We were blown away by the lightning-fast internet speeds, over 100Mbps! No worries about connection dropouts. Ample parking and a lively restaurant below. Rooms were basic but manageable for a short stay. The lounge had everything we needed, from coffee cups to hot water. Great effort was made to freshen up the interior rooms.

Great food at the restaurant, especially the bacon barbecue burger and lamb chops. Having a private bathroom was a nice touch, and the rooms were clean. the location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing Easter getaway.

The rooms were a bit on the small side, especially the two with berths. the Wi-Fi was a bit tricky to connect to, and the staff in the restaurant didn't know how to help.

My recent stay at a roadside guesthouse was a pleasant surprise. The newly renovated rooms were clean and modern, and the shower was the best I experienced in Iceland. The beds were comfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the place was outstanding. The young man running the hotel and restaurant was friendly and provided excellent service. Plus, the location right on the main road made it convenient for travelers like myself. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

stayed here before in Vithigerthi, but this time North West blew me away. Cosy, clean rooms and a breathtaking view of the valley. The staff, especially the old man at breakfast, were so friendly and helpful. One of the most charming experiences in Iceland!

the room and private bathroom were clean and had plenty of hooks for towels. it was quiet despite facing a main road. the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room wasn't too hot. there was a hot water boiler in the common area which was convenient.

The hotel's location on the ring road is extremely convenient. Breakfast has a good array of food options. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The private bathroom is excellent.

Fantastic nice and friendly owners! The hotell is located directly at the main road, and the rooms are small but absolutely new. The breakfast is much better than in other places. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly atmosphere and great breakfast.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Despite the small rooms, we appreciated the clothing rack, hooks for hanging our belongings, and the newly renovated heater. the hot water dispenser in the common hall was a convenient touch.

The thin walls made it difficult to have a peaceful night's sleep.
