During our Christmas stay, we were pleased with the beautiful surroundings and convenient location, just a short drive from the famous Skogar waterfalls. The cleanliness of the guesthouse was outstanding, and the warm and welcoming host made our stay enjoyable. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast, especially the home-baked pancakes, and the breathtaking views from the property.

While there were no major issues, we found a couple of minor drawbacks during our stay. The shared bathroom could be a bit bothersome, as we had to rely on the consideration of other guests.

I had the most comfortable beds during my 7-day trip in Iceland. The shared kitchen was well-stocked and the option for after-hours check-in was convenient. The host was incredibly friendly and made delicious pancakes for breakfast. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to waterfalls and the Skogar museum.

The homemade pancakes were divine, I felt like I was having breakfast at a fancy café! The host was delightful and the view from the guesthouse was simply breathtaking.

I loved hitting my head on the sloping ceiling in our room, it added an unexpected element of excitement to our stay.

That the bunk bed in our room had noisy springs, but thankfully the host provided ear plugs. as is common in guesthouses with shared bathrooms, there were only two bathrooms for multiple guests, and it sometimes took a while for others to finish using them.

The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was situated on the south coast, close to many attractions. We enjoyed the stunning views of the volcano from the living room's big windows. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and offered a great variety of options. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, and no matter which direction the windows faced, I was treated to a gorgeous panorama. the host made check-in a breeze, and was accommodating and flexible with any requests or questions.

The worst aspect of my stay was the shared bathroom situation. It would have been more convenient if there were separate toilets available and sinks in the bedrooms, as this would have minimized the wait time for using the bathroom and getting ready in the morning.
