The Midtown Hotel was a delightful surprise! I loved how close it was to everything—perfect for exploring Reykjavik. The rooftop hot tub provided an amazing view of the city and was a great way to unwind after a day of adventures. Free coffee and tea were a nice touch too!

However, I hit a snag during check-in as there was no staff on-site. I received self-check-in instructions via email, but accessing my room was a little tricky at first. Also, the noise from the nearby pubs made it a bit tough to sleep on Saturday night.

Location is prime, just a two-minute walk from Rainbow Street! Clean room with an extremely comfy bed. Kitchen was fully equipped, and the staff was super helpful, readily providing extra towels and coffee with a quick email.

absolutely terrible experience! The lack of staff was shocking. I couldn't figure out the ridiculously complex self-check-in. also, why was there no soap in the bathroom? it's like they expect us to bring our own products. I almost wrote a glowing review, but I didn’t receive any special treatment. really disappointing, would not recommend!
