I loved the cozy and homely feel of the cottage, with its Nordic country style decor. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and the kitchen supplies were perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the back of the cottage overlooking the ocean was simply stunning. The location in this small seaside town was ideal for exploring the south of Iceland.

The seaside cottage was perfectly furnished with attention to detail and had a charming vintage style. The location was just a few meters from the sea, offering a pleasant smell of mussels. The highlight was the old-style bathtub in the middle of the bathroom, which added a cool touch. Additionally, the nearby restaurant, Vid Fjörubordid, served the best ever lobster soup and lobsters.

I had a truly magical stay at Sea Side Cottages. The cozy and clean cottage was the perfect retreat by the sea. The location was excellent, right by the ocean, providing beautiful views and easy access to relaxing walks. The cottage was well-appointed, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, like the 100% cotton sheets and towels. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with nautical themes and romantic candles creating a cozy ambiance. I also enjoyed the backyard, with its fantastic view of the field and the ocean, and the patio with its good quality furniture and grill. It was a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

One thing to note is that the bathroom in the smaller cottage did not have a bathtub as indicated on the website. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal in the small cottage was not strong enough due to the router being in the big cottage.

We stayed at Sea Side Cottages for one night and wished we could've stayed longer. The hand-built cottages were absolutely beautiful and filled with character. The owner, Margaret's brother, gave us a warm welcome and showed us his warehouse filled with amazing collectibles and woodwork. The location was perfect, with a peaceful deck where we enjoyed the beautiful ocean view. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely be back.

I recently stayed at Sea Side Cottages for a few nights while exploring the south of Iceland. The cozy little cottage had everything I needed to feel at home. Its perfect location allowed me to easily explore the surrounding area, and there was even a stable nearby for horseback riding on the beach. The cottage was tastefully decorated with antiques and had two comfortable bedrooms. The highlight was the downstairs bathroom, where I could enjoy a relaxing bath by candlelight with a glass of wine. The value for money was excellent, and the owners, Margret and her husband, were friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this little piece of paradise!
