We stayed at Seljavellir Guesthouse for a few nights during our trip to Iceland. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we felt welcome. The buffet breakfast had a great selection, including freshly fried eggs. The room had a unique and modern design, with a floor made of small black beach pebbles. The big windows doubled as doors, which was an interesting concept. The room, though small, was well designed, with a long table and two seats. The staff even left a kind note and a couple of free beers for my husband's birthday.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was decent and helped us start our day. the location of this guesthouse was quite convenient as it was situated near a lot of important landmarks and tourist spots. the bed was comfortable and helped us get a good night's sleep.

The bathroom was way too tiny and could hardly fit one person at a time. there was no shower curtain which caused water to splash all around the toilet after a shower.

The facilities were outstanding! the room was nicely appointed and had everything I needed. the breakfast offered a lot of variety and was excellent, with both hot and cold foods. the location was great, not too far from the main road but far enough to avoid traffic noise.

I would have liked to have a small fridge in the room and a bin that wasn't only in the bathroom. the towels provided were a little old and thin.
