The cottages were spacious and modern, with a cozy interior. The views of the mountains were stunning and the location was peaceful. The calm surroundings made it a great spot to see the northern lights, away from cities and light pollution.

The nearest shop was quite far away, around 30-40km, so it's important to go grocery shopping before reaching the cottage. some of the cottages had poor views, with a direct view of the large, plastic, industrial garbage bins.

I absolutely loved my stay at the cozy cottages in Sodulsholt. The interior was modern, spacious, and clean, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The scenic views of the mountains were breathtaking, and I especially enjoyed the tranquility of the location. The fully inclusive kitchen was a great convenience, making it easy for me to prepare my meals. The sight of horses coming up close in the evening was a delightful bonus. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider staying here again if I find myself in the area.

The only downside I encountered was the distance to the nearest shop, which required a bit of a drive. Additionally, the stairs to the upper room were a bit challenging, making it difficult to bring luggage upstairs.

The cottage was spotless and roomy, with a well-equipped kitchen and even a dishwasher. The view from the window and the porch was great, and there was a chance to see the northern lights. the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, responding quickly to questions and needs.

While the cottage was perfect for a family exploring the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, there were a few areas for improvement. It would have been nice if the hosts provided shower soap and shampoo, as well as stocked the kitchen with more essential supplies.
