We had an amazing stay in this centrally located apartment. It was right in the heart of the old town and close to everything. The apartment was stylish and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The owner gave us a detailed tour and provided insider tips for exploring the area. We even had the opportunity to experience local hospitality by being invited for dinner with a local family. The apartment had a unique and eclectic design, including a collection of Moomins kitchenware.

The pillows on the beds could have offered more support.

The Dreamy Sleep Experience: Falling asleep to the mesmerizing glow of the midnight sun was like laying on a cloud of enchantment. Our heads by the window, we embarked on a whimsical dream adventure under the never-ending Icelandic sky.

Minor Feng Shui Issue: Bed orientation near the window made it challenging to fall and stay asleep, especially with the perpetual daylight.

As a senior woman, I particularly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The design allowed for easy navigation and there were handrails available throughout, ensuring my safety and comfort.

It would have been even better if there were more organized activities or tours specifically catered towards senior guests. The children working there were helpful, but I would have loved to see them offer more options for us to fully enjoy our vacation.

We got excellent value for our money, with a spacious and perfectly designed apartment. The location was unbeatable, within walking distance to everything in town. The owner, Gisli, was incredibly welcoming and friendly.

One of the best things about the hotel was the friendly and helpful staff, who made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

There were a couple of things that I didn't enjoy about my Christmas at this hotel. the Wi-Fi connection was very weak and unreliable, which made it difficult to stay connected with my loved ones back home.

I appreciated the complementary soda in the refrigerator upon arrival, and the host was helpful, even taking the time to answer our questions about the area during their visit on the first afternoon. a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Tangs in Isafjordur. The central location was perfect for exploring the old town, and the adjacent park was a lovely surprise for our kids. The apartment was well-equipped and clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were exceptional - friendly, informative, and spending time with Gisli was a highlight of our trip to Iceland. We can't wait to come back!

The hotel was in a historic building and had a cool decor. It had all the amenities we needed, like a washer, dryer, and a full-size fridge. We also enjoyed the friendly owner who gave us travel tips and even offered to take us on a tour of the building.

Finding the hotel was difficult as there was no email with directions or instructions on where to pick up the keys. We got lost and had to rely on the owner to help us find it.
