the location was great for exploring nearby attractions, such as Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, Reynisfjara beach, and Dyrhólaey lighthouse and arch. Although the house was quite far from Vik, it still suited my budget. I enjoyed the comfort and warmth of the house, making it a pleasant stay.

Nothing to complain about, everything was good 👍🏼

the holiday houses in kirkjubaejarklaustur exceeded our expectations. the manager quickly fixed our door and sent help when we had a flat tire. the basic room had everything we needed and the view was amazing.

Curtains were missing.

I recently stayed at The Holiday Houses for a couple of nights while exploring the nearby sights. The spacious rooms with a well-equipped kitchen were perfect for preparing our meals. The view outside the room was absolutely stunning, with lava fields, a river, sheep, and a glacier in sight. The hotel's location was convenient, just a short detour off the ring road, yet it felt like an isolated getaway. With clear instructions, getting in was a breeze. a great spot for a cozy and peaceful stay.

Would recommend this hotel.

Stunning location with beautiful views of the river, plain, and peaks of Myrdalsjokull. Cozy and comfortable sleeping area upstairs, perfect for waking up to a gorgeous sunrise.- Appreciated the provided coffee, sugar, and oil.

The property seemed outdated and in need of a makeover, especially the sanitary facilities. Not very clean, with unpleasant smelling dishcloths.

The view from the house was absolutely mind-blowing! It was the perfect spot to relax and if you're lucky, witness the jaw-dropping Aurora. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We loved sipping our morning coffee while enjoying the stunning view of lava fields, a river, and even sheeps. The location was convenient yet secluded, making it feel like a true getaway. The instructions for check-in were clear, and the free parking and Wi-Fi were great bonuses. a super stay for a memorable vacation!

The location of the holiday houses is easily accessible and offers a nice view of the river, plain, and peaks of the Myrdalsjokull. The rooms are comfortable and suitable for groups. Free parking is available just next to the house.

The house was poorly maintained and not well kept. The cleanliness was lacking, with dusty and sticky floors.

My recent stay at the Holiday Houses was fantastic! The house was situated in a picturesque location, offering breathtaking morning views. The small size of the house was not a problem for the one night we stayed, as it served us well. It was a pleasant surprise to find coffee, sugar, and oil provided.

The porch by the front door could have been cleared of snow a bit better, but considering the heavy snowfall, I understand that the staff was doing their best. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Iceland.
