We had a wonderful experience staying at the cottages in Uthlid. the location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore popular tourist sights such as Geysir, Gullfoss, and Thingvillier. the cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen/living room. the highlight was definitely the hot tub outside, where we could relax and enjoy the stunning views of nature. We were even lucky enough to witness the beautiful Aurora from our cottage. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the traditional lamb meat soup. we highly recommend these cottages for a visit to the area.

The cottages were lovely with a beautiful view. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a larger cottage at no extra cost, which was incredibly spacious. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and we really enjoyed our stay here, even if it was only for a few nights. We would highly recommend staying at these cottages, especially for their convenient location near attractions like the Geysers and Gullfoss.

We had a great stay at the cottages. the location was lovely and closer to places than we expected. the outdoor area was superb with a hot tub and a spacious deck, perfect for enjoying the beautiful scenery. the cottage itself was well-equipped with a kitchen, balcony, and ample supply of plates, glasses, and cookware. the beds were comfortable and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. It was a great place for watching the Northern Lights.

Finding the cottages was not obvious, but once we arrived, everything else was great! 👍

We had a fantastic stay at these cozy cabins in Uthlid. The location was perfect for exploring the Golden Circle, with a geothermal bath just a few minutes away. The cabin itself was clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a fully heated jacuzzi for those chilly nights. The manageress was friendly and informative, even teaching us about the nearby volcanoes. The highlight of our stay was witnessing a breathtaking two-hour show of the northern lights right outside our cabin. We highly recommend these cabins for a memorable stay in Iceland. we had a great experience and would definitely return.

We stayed at the cottages and were pleasantly surprised by a free upgrade to a cottage with a hot tub. the location was perfect, offering privacy and a stunning view. While the cottage itself was a bit outdated, the hot tub more than made up for it. We enjoyed the convenience of being close to attractions such as Geysir and Gullfoss. the staff was friendly and the bed and bedding were comfortable.

I especially loved the attached hot tub, it was a delightful bonus to relax in after a long day of exploring. Despite the minor inconvenience of the absence of a washing machine and a slightly jaded hot tub area, the overall experience was fantastic. I would definitely recommend staying here.
