Comfy room with great sleep. Saw Northern Lights from car park. Quick check-in. Good continental breakfast. Strong shower pressure and stylish tiled walls. Would recommend for Ring Road journey.

We had a great stay at Valaskjalf! The receptionist was friendly and our room was ready earlier than expected. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a very cozy bed. The bathroom and toilets were clean. We enjoyed a delicious and varied breakfast in the beautifully decorated dining room. The hotel provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for our stopover in Iceland. It was also conveniently located near the town.

As young people, we loved the lively atmosphere of the attached bar and the friendly bartenders who recommended their delicious homemade pizza. The breakfast spread was truly impressive with a wide variety of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits, and more. We couldn't resist going back for seconds!

The breakfast was decent and they offered free coffee and tea in the lobby all day long. The location was convenient, close to a couple of restaurants and shops, making it easy to grab something to eat. the staff was friendly and welcoming.

The room smelled of sulfur and the blankets and sheets were uncomfortable. The walls were thin, and we could hear the conversations of people in the surrounding rooms.
