My friends and I had a blast at Hostel Gandhi!

After exploring the rad Hotel Triplets and hitting up the most lit entertainment spots in Chennai, coming back to the cozy hostel with chill vibes and super fast WiFi was the icing on the cake. Cons: Wish there was a rooftop bar for some nighttime fun with live music or DJ sets.

My purpose was leisure for 5 days. the atmosphere was welcoming with cute cats, lovely designs, and a central location near a metro station. the staff and guests were fantastic, and the meals were delicious and affordable.

I recommend this hotel.

the staff was incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home. the place was well-maintained, with clean toilets and comfortable beds. There were friendly animals around, perfect for animal lovers like me. I enjoyed interacting with fellow international travelers and listening to their stories. the location was convenient, with shops nearby for any necessities.

One thing that could be improved at this hotel is the maintenance after rains, especially on the balcony. Another area for enhancement is to ensure all beds are in good condition before assigning them to guests.

Upon entering the accommodation, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and modernity of the facilities. the dormitory I stayed in had ample space and a balcony, providing a refreshing atmosphere compared to other cramped hostels I've encountered on my travels.

The manager treated us like old friends, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the shared accommodation was clean, and our kids loved the fun terrace with friendly pets.

My wife says that a dedicated play area for children would enhance the family experience.

Nothing it was perfect

stayed at a few hostels in chennai before, but Gandhi blew me away with its cozy atmosphere and attentive staff. the proximity to the metro station and availability of meals truly stood out. the comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and chillout lounge made my stay unforgettable. Gandhi is the go-to place in chennai for a safe and welcoming experience. cons: uncomfortable mattress.

This place is a gem; it's a step above the rest. the beds are huge & comfortable, the amenities are spot on, and the staff is top-notch. I loved chilling at the lounge and balcony. They could improve the signage outside to make it pop more, but all in all, a spot worth every penny. ? .

Great location near a metro station, providing easy access for exploring the city. the cool environment with big trees on the street was quite refreshing. Meeting fellow travelers and enjoying diverse and nutritious food options were additional highlights of the stay during the festive season.

Lack of bedsheet and pillow cover provided was a downside, although it didn't significantly affect the overall experience.
