I had a truly laid-back experience at Daphne Hotel. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the beach and surrounded by many restaurants. The road conditions were good and the Google Maps location was accurate. The hotel itself had an antique feel and the rooms and compound were clean. The staff promptly accommodated our request for a room on the ground floor, which was more convenient for us. The hotel also had a calm and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing stay. I would recommend this hotel for its great location and pleasant ambiance.

I recently stayed at Daphne Hotel for a few nights with my family. The staff was helpful and the small, green courtyard was a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located near the ECR exit and is close to all the attractions and eating places in the area. The cost of the stay was reasonable and the room was clean, with fresh bed sheets. I was even given a free upgrade to a larger room. The hotel also has a kitchen, which was great for cooking our own meals. a highly recommended place to stay in Mahabalipuram.

It was a relief to have enough space for everyone.- The location was ideal, just a short 4-minute walk to the beach. We loved being so close to the water.

It would have been nice to have a restaurant inside the hotel for quick snacks and tea/coffee. The TV was not working properly as it was shared among the rooms.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the spacious and clean rooms with their balconies that let in plenty of sunlight and fresh breeze. the rooms were a perfect retreat after a long day exploring the area. the hotel's location was fantastic, with easy access to the nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops. It was such a joy to be able to walk to all the popular sights and attractions, including the mesmerizing Shore Temple and the beautiful beach.

Even though I had called in advance, I still had to face some resistance from the receptionist before they finally allowed my furry friend to stay. I couldn't help but notice stray cats roaming around and leaving their business on the floors.
