During my Christmas vacation, I stayed at a hotel inside a historic fort. The guesthouse offered a room with a comfortable bed and a hot shower after 8:30 am. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the sights and sounds. Additionally, I enjoyed the meal served at the restaurant, which featured great food with an excellent view of the surrounding area.

One thing that could have been better was the bedding in the room. The bed had a padded quilt and bottom sheet, but no top sheet, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the hotel experienced power cuts every morning, which caused discomfort during the hot and humid mornings.

My stay at Deepak Rest House was fantastic. The location in the fort area was perfect and provided a peaceful atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the easy access to all the sights within and outside the fort. The room was spacious, clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. Having windows that could be opened was a lovely touch. The restaurant on the rooftop offered delicious food with great views. I also had the opportunity to go on a camel safari with them, which was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a quiet and enjoyable stay.
