The staff at this hotel were truly exceptional. They were more like family than hotel employees, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. From the reception to the dining room and bar, every staff member was superbly friendly and helpful. We were especially impressed by the banquet manager Sudip and his attentive team. the decor in the lobby and reception was charming, reflecting the hotel's heritage beautifully. the location is also great, just a short walk from town, making it convenient to explore the area.

The restaurant staff could improve their attitude and speed of service, as well as offering more diverse food options for breakfast and dinner. the rooms and bathrooms could do with some modernization and upgrades, as some furniture and amenities felt outdated.

Our gang had a blast hitting Hotel Triplets Entertainment and Family fun zones - so lit! the staff were super chill and made us feel at home, even offering deets on cool hangout spots. Epic vibes, bro!

During my recent business trip to Gangtok, the Elgin Norkhill - Heritage Resort And Spa was chosen by my director for our accommodation. the grand and splendid interiors of this heritage hotel truly captured my attention, with priceless collections of paintings and artifacts adorning the walls. the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make me feel like royalty, providing exceptional service throughout my stay. the dining experience was top-notch, with a great menu selection and delicious food that showcased the restaurant's culinary expertise. the location of the hotel was also ideal, offering excellent views from both the rooms and the garden. the breakfast spread was comprehensive, and the staff was well-trained and always ready to assist.

In terms of cons, I did notice a minor issue with the unsmiling restaurant staff, which slightly affected the overall dining experience.

The restaurant staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast spread is reasonable, offering good Indian vegetarian options. The location is convenient, being only a 10-minute walk from MG Road.

The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre, making it a great base for exploring the area. It is also situated next to the Paljore stadium, providing a unique backdrop for your stay. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with amenities such as a bath tub and a geyser for hot water. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast served is delicious, offering a taste of the local cuisine.

One morning, breakfast wasn't ready until 8am, despite the stated timing of 7-10am.

What an amazing city break! I loved the friendly staff; they went out of their way to make us feel special. the breakfast and dinner buffets were absolutely fantastic with a lot of variety and high-quality food that was delicious. the location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. I particularly enjoyed the relaxing garden, it was such a peaceful escape with the beautifully maintained flowers and comfortable seating.

Although the rooms were spacious and comfortable, they were a bit outdated and could use some refurbishing. the bathroom was a bit cramped and the pedestal bathtub made it difficult to take a proper shower.

Staying at this hotel was a luxury experience! the exclusive amenities fulfilled all of my needs and exceeded my expectations. the Spa & wellness centre provided a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. the Garden area was absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding valleys, while the Leisure/ TV room was a great place to unwind. the room itself was spacious and elegantly decorated with high-end furnishings and private facilities.

Despite the luxurious experience, I did have one minor issue. the Bar/ Lounge area was a bit small and crowded, making it difficult to find a seat during peak hours.
