We had a great stay at Hostelavie! the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist us with any questions or requests we had. the property itself was beautiful, with well-kept facilities and a lovely view of the Ganges river from the rooftop. We especially appreciated the free walking tour and the assistance in arranging boat tours for both morning and evening. the free laundry facilities and the availability of water whenever we needed it were also great amenities. the cozy bed, clean sheets, and lovely wall paintings added to our pleasant experience. the free breakfast, consisting of toast with butter and jam, chai, corn flakes with milk, and a banana.

I absolutely hated the fact that they didn't have a personal chauffeur to pick me up from the airport. How dare they make me plan my own transportation!

I stayed at Hostelavie for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants within a short walking distance and the river just 5 minutes away. The rooms, though basic, were clean and comfortable. The hostel had a great atmosphere, with a rooftop offering stunning views, perfect for relaxing. The staff, especially Yogesh and Vicky, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the city and tours. The breakfast included in the unbeatable price was a nice bonus.

Stayed at an amazing place with friendly and helpful staff. Close to major sights and easy to walk around. the comfortable and clean room, along with great common areas, made it perfect for meeting other travelers. We were grateful for the free use of the washing machine. They even arranged transport to and from the station, which was a big help. Probably our favorite place and city from the whole trip. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, close to Shivala ghat and in the old town. Only a 10-minute walk from Assi ghat. Plenty of restaurants and tuk tuks nearby. Clean and modern rooms with very good AC. Rooftop with a nice view of the river. Downstairs area with pillows and daybeds to relax in.

The location was very convenient, as it was very close to the river and within walking distance of Assi Ghat. The free breakfast provided was delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at Hostelavie. the property is cosy and the staff are polite and helpful. the rooms are clean and they even provide tea and snacks on order. the best part is the stunning view of the Ganga from the terrace and some of the dorms. the hostel also has great common areas, including a terrace, ground floor common room, and a small garden with dining tables. the location is ideal, within walking distance of Assi Ghat and about 3 km from Kashi Vishwanath temple. I particularly loved the lovely decor and vibe, as well as the free laundry facilities and diverse breakfast options. the staff, especially Yogesh and Vicky, were excellent and made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. They even helped me book a train ticket to my next destination.

I recently stayed at Hostelavie for a week while exploring Varanasi. The hostel was one of the best I've experienced in India. The rates were cheap, and they even offered free washing and breakfast. The communal areas were great, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The location was perfect, as it was close to the ghats and they even organized a morning river cruise for me, which was a real highlight. I highly recommend this hostel for its excellent amenities, independent common areas, and breathtaking views.

The hostel is located near a small crematorium, providing a unique cultural experience. It is also close to Assi Ghat, allowing easy access to the river. The rooms are basic but have everything you need, including comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a well-organized and clean place. there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, such as Pizzeria Vaatika Cafe and Aum Cafe.

The reception area can be noisy until about midnight, which may disturb some guests seeking a quiet environment.

The hostel had a great location, close to the river and the university complex. I loved the large terrace with a view of the Ganga, it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The hostel had a variety of room options and the mattresses were soft and comfortable. Another advantage was that they provided hot water, which was a nice touch. Plus, they had a washing machine and washing powder available for free, which was convenient for travelers like me.

There was one staff member who was quite rude and had an unpleasant attitude towards everyone. I had a negative experience with the taxi service provided by the hostel.
