We were also delighted to discover that there were nearby tourist attractions such as waterfalls and the scenic hill station of Vagamon, although we couldn't explore them due to our tight schedule. The area where the hotel is situated, being at the border between Ernakulam and Idukki districts, is interesting as it is known for being the largest pineapple market in Asia. We were glad to see the city of Thodupuzha expanding rapidly with all the modern facilities one would expect in a big city in Kerala.
