I recently stayed at a guesthouse in Varanasi and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for exploring the Ghats and it wasn't too touristy. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure all our requests were met without any language difficulties. The highlight was definitely the comfortable mattress, providing the coziest sleep I've had in India. I would definitely choose to stay at this guesthouse again if I ever return to Varanasi.

The terrace offers a stunning view of the Ganga river and the monkeys add to the charm. The place feels like a second home, making it hard to leave.

Oh, the 17 km distance to the state bus station was just so convenient, I loved the long commute every day.

It was truly a memorable experience to watch monkeys on the neighboring balcony during the morning. The owner of the house was incredibly helpful and kind. He took us on a boat trip on the Ganga in the morning and shared interesting facts about Varanasi. I highly recommend this accommodation for a great experience in Varanasi.

They provided boat trips on the Ganga river and walking tours of the old city, which were definitely worth it. The rooms were simple but nicely decorated and very clean. The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the ghats and surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Sonu, the owner, made us feel welcome and at home. His chai was excellent too!
