The location of this place is great, as it is close to the river and convenient for walking to the ghat. This was especially nice for witnessing the sunrise and sunset at the river. the owner of the hostel organizes tours to hidden temples and streets, providing a unique and informative experience.

It was difficult to find parking, and even getting a cab to come close to the hotel was a challenge. The staff's response to any requests was not helpful, often stating that it is a hostel and not a hotel.

Mother Hostel was a great value for the money, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location was convenient, close to famous temples and ghats. The staff, especially Gourav Khanna, was friendly and always ready to assist.

During my 5-day stay at Mother Hostel in Varanasi, I found the location to be unbeatable, just a short stroll from the Ganga River and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. the staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel at home. the only minor downsides were the lack of a proper window in my room and the need for longer beds. a great budget option in the heart of Varanasi.

The homemade meals were delicious and the best lassis in town! The location was central and conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the main Gath. The rooms were simple but renovated and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. it truly felt like a home away from home.
