I had a fantastic stay at Shiva Guest House for 3 nights. The staff, especially the owner, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even booked our train tickets last minute and arranged a walking and boat tour with an amazing guide named Moon. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the Ganges River, and the view from my room was breathtaking. The room itself had all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning and Wi-Fi. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning next year.

We had a wonderful stay at a guest house close to the Ghats. the location was perfect, with Munshi Ghat just a minute's walk away and Dashashwamedh Ghat within easy reach through the lanes. the premium double room we stayed in was comfortable, clean, and had a nice seating area. the air conditioning was effective, and we appreciated being in a local neighborhood with the family residing in the same building. the guest house also offered affordable laundry services and provided great recommendations for places to eat and visit. We particularly enjoyed breakfast at the nearby Brown Bread Bakery, and there were plenty of shops and travel agents in the area.

Wifi connection was weak.

The tour desk was so helpful in organizing excursions to all the popular attractions. The 24-hour front desk was perfect for storing all my heavy luggage. And oh, the restaurant! Such a delightful selection of Indian dishes. I must've gained at least five pounds!

As if it wasn't enough to have free private parking, they also had an international menu. How dare they offer such convenient options!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always making sure that I felt safe and taken care of. The small room had great views, allowing me to enjoy the scenery from the comfort of my own space. The food at the hotel was fresh and cooked to order, which was a nice touch. the location was perfect as I was able to stay on the river and avoid the hustle and bustle of the town.

One downside of my stay was the persistent boat touting in the area. It could get a bit overwhelming and took away from the peaceful atmosphere.

The morning boat ride organized by the guest house could be improved, as it started later than expected and the guide didn't provide enough information about the city and its cultural significance.

the manager of the hotel was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. He even helped me with transportation to the train station and retrieving my lost luggage. As a solo female traveler, I really appreciated the extra support. the guesthouse had a perfect location, just a short walk to the ghats and a bit further to the main road. the staff was friendly and arranged airport pick-up. I would definitely stay here again if I return to this city.
