I got great value for my money at Shiva Lodge. The room was nicely decorated and had all the basic amenities I needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the main ghat and surrounded by plenty of food options. The staff at Shiva Lodge were incredibly welcoming and kind, making my stay even more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge. the owners were very nice and made us feel at home. the atmosphere was authentic and we enjoyed having evening conversations with them on the rooftop. the view of the Ganges River from the rooftop was amazing. the location was perfect, close to the riverside and away from the busy main roads. the rooms and shared bathrooms were clean and comfortable. this lodge provided a true Indian family experience and we highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Shiva Lodge. The place was exceptionally clean, even cleaner than most hotels at this price range. The shared bathrooms and rooms were well-maintained, and the terrace provided a cool spot with a great view of the Ganges. The family who runs the lodge were splendid hosts, allowing us to have our privacy if we desired, but also ready to engage in conversation if we wanted. We especially enjoyed their delicious chai. The location was perfect, just 15 meters away from a ghat, allowing easy access to the riverside without having to navigate through dusty main roads. We highly recommend Shiva Lodge and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Varanasi.
