During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the spacious and well-decorated rooms. The attention to detail was impressive, with vintage traditional wooden furniture and lovely painted nooks in the walls. The constant hot water in the washrooms and complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. the location of the hotel was unbeatable, with easy access to local shops, markets, and nearby attractions.

There were a few aspects that I didn't particularly enjoy. the lack of privacy in the bathrooms was a concern for me, as there was a hole connecting to the rooftop and I could hear the people in the adjacent room.

Suraj Haveli is a hidden gem in the heart of the city center. The location is perfect and tucked away in a quiet cul de sac. The owners, Vikas and Akash, go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The food at the homestay is delicious and the rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views. Highly recommended for a budget traveler.

The hotel offered clean and well-equipped rooms, which was a great advantage during my business trip. I also enjoyed the amazing rooftop view, which was a perfect spot to relax after a long day. the staff's hospitality was excellent, making me feel like home.

One drawback was the lack of ventilation in my room, as it didn't have a window. However, they did provide an AC, so it was manageable.

The staff was helpful and attentive, and the overall service was excellent. I also appreciated the laundry service and the complimentary daily supply of water bottles. A delightful stay overall!
