What a gem of a find! the peaceful location by the beautiful seaside is just what you need to unwind and the personal welcome from the staff adds to the relaxed vibe. the breakfast with a view is a delightful start to the day. the muddy and bumpy approach road was the only minor blip, but nothing to mar the overall fantastic experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Kerala Cottage in a quiet and peaceful part of Odyam beach. the staff, especially Nevan, were friendly and attentive to our needs. the cottages were cozy and well-maintained, with all the necessary facilities. the breakfast with both Indian and continental options was exceptional, served with a beautiful seaside view. the overall experience was relaxing and rejuvenating, making it a perfect choice for a holiday retreat. We would highly recommend Kerala Cottage for a memorable stay.

The staff went above and beyond, just like having a personal concierge at a luxury hotel. They arranged everything from motorbike rentals to laundry services with a smile. the breakfast spread was a gastronomic delight, especially the heavenly chocolate pancakes with a view to match.

Wished we could have stayed longer;

I recently stayed at a charming cottage by the beach in God's Own Country and it was absolutely delightful. The location was breathtaking, with a pristine aqua blue beach just a stone's throw away from my cottage. The staff made me feel like part of their family, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The food was prepared with love and I savored every bite, especially the local delicacies and fresh fruits. The cottage itself was well-appointed with all the amenities I needed, including mosquito nets and a clean bathroom with hot showers. I also enjoyed lounging in the hammocks amidst the coconut palms on the property. my experience at this little piece of heaven called Kerala Cottage was exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

I always return here for holidays. the staff helped with parking on my first visit. This place suits all my needs: Wi-Fi, parking, luggage storage, security, shuttle, laundry. Rooms have TV, dryer, kettle. Breakfast in-room. Beach access with umbrellas. No pets, AC, non-smoking.

We loved the tranquil location set back from the beach and the brand new, spacious and clean rooms. The staff, Saahil and Raj, were always attentive and generous, making sure we had everything we needed. The extra touches like welcome drinks and daily bottles of water were much appreciated. The proximity to Odayam Beach was perfect for us, and the coastal path to Varkala beach was a pleasant 20-minute walk.

We felt at ease throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff were wonderful and thoughtful, excellent breakfast, good outside seating and hammocks in the cabins, great cafe/restaurant next door, perfect location near the uncrowded part of the beach.

We stayed at Kerala Cottage in Varkala and got great value for our money. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the sea from our sit-out. The location was peaceful and just a minute's walk from Odayam beach. The staff treated us like family, always available and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended!

The breakfast option could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

The stay was excellent and the caretaker was always available to help us with anything we require. Spacious room with clean sheets. The cottages are just a min away from the beach and we could see the sea and hear the sound of waves when we sat in the sit-out of our cottage. The place is very calm and serene if you want to just enjoy a laid-back holiday.

Warm water did not always work. Wifi in our hut was not very good, we mostly used our mobile data.
