The location of Westend Hotel in Matheran was very nice, with attentive staff. the food was not up to par for the price. It's advisable to eat at other local restaurants like Shalimar. Our stay was made exceptional by Mr Bijen Shrestha's outstanding customer service, offering an upgraded room without extra cost, and the enjoyable facilities and entertainment options provided by the hotel. the peaceful surroundings, good Wi-Fi, and decent dining choices added to the positive experience. the variety of rooms catered to different preferences, but some could benefit from a makeover. the relaxation amenities such as the spa and swimming pools enhanced our family bonding, while nearby landmarks like Pisharnath Mahadev Mandir and Charlotte Lake added a touch of cultural exploration to our trip.

The hotel's beautiful garden area with comfy seating and hammocks was a lovely spot for relaxation, ideal for senior folk. the easy accessibility around the hotel made it convenient for us to move around and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Better assistance for senior folks is needed from the children working there.

I appreciated the variety of food options available. the tent room I stayed in had enough space for a comfortable night. Enjoyed games like carrom and badminton on site. I especially loved the nature-filled surroundings - a great getaway from city life. the manager, Mr BJ, was friendly and always ready to assist. the short walk to the market was worth the beautiful setting. a delightful stay. Will definitely consider revisiting.

Loved the green surroundings, especially the serene sitting-out terrace by the pool and the excellent breakfast spread. the management team was top-notch and even arranged a taxi for us post-checkout. Enjoyed some quality family time at the sports facilities and dance floor. the only slight downside was the room size being a bit smaller than expected for the price paid, but it didn't overshadow the overall fantastic stay. 🌿
