the staff, especially mr krishnamoorthy, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. the room was well-maintained with spectacular views and delicious food options. the restaurant staff, including kuldip, went out of their way to provide excellent service. the children's playing area was a hit with our little one, keeping them engaged throughout the stay. A pleasant experience with exceptional service. Cons: utterly happy with everything 🙂.

The Holiday Activity Centre was a hub of fun! I felt like a kid again, playing indoor games and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. It was like being in a magical land where time flew by with laughter and excitement.

No room slippers.

The staff at this hotel are extremely courteous and helpful, from the friendly receptionist to the restaurant servers. They go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. the restaurant offers a wide variety of cuisine, including an excellently prepared south Indian spread. the beautiful view from the balcony adds to the serene atmosphere. the hotel also provides tours and ticket assistance who want to explore the surrounding area.

While the hotel offers lovely views and a comfortable stay, there are a few areas that could be improved. the cleanliness inside and outside the hotel could be better maintained, especially in the common areas.

Memorable stay

During my short stay at Sterling Yercaud, I had a smooth and easy pick-up from Salem station to the resort. The check-in process was handled by the wonderful reception staff, Murthy, Madhu, and Lara, who made sure my family and I got the rooms we wanted and provided us with everything we needed. The rooms were clean and had wonderful views overlooking the city of Salem.

our recent visit to yercaud surpassed our expectations with sterling. the breathtaking views, friendly staff, and exceptional buffet set them apart.

gym needs an upgrade.

Great views, clean rooms, delicious breakfast. Attentive staff, especially Kuldip in dining hall. Comfy bed. No kitchen but had sink and platform. Suite had tight bedroom, dining table provided. Courteous staff at front office and restaurant, like Sunder and Elongavan. Grandchildren enjoyed food and activities. Mr. Guna kept us happy in activity room. Suite room had excellent mountain and valley views. In-house restaurant and separate bar. Good food but slightly expensive. Walkable distance to Ladies Seat, Gent's Seat, Rose Garden. had a good vacation with nice breakfast and room. Quick check in and check out with helpful staff. Resort provided assistance with lifting baggage. warm and appreciative staff.

I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and I was highly impressed with the level of comfort and quality services provided. The location of the hotel is simply stunning, with breathtaking views of the hills and the city. The staff here are incredibly kind and courteous, always going above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. The restaurant staff in particular were exceptional, as they were able to customize dishes to my friend's taste. The food at both the buffet and room service was absolutely delicious. In the evenings, there was even a bonfire and dance event at the amphitheater, where the staff joined in and created a fun and lively atmosphere. my stay here was truly wonderful and memorable, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient as it is situated on the slopes of Shevaroy Hills, providing a supposedly good view. Additionally, it is close to the 40 ft bridge, offering easy access to a popular tourist attraction. The hotel also boasts several activities within the resort, ensuring guests have plenty to do during their stay.

Some aspects of the hotel's service fell short.

Had an amazing New Year experience at a hilltop resort. the weather was perfect with refreshing surroundings and breathtaking panoramic views. Loved the cozy rooms with comfortable bedding and modern amenities provided. the hospitality of the staff was exceptional with prompt service and warm gestures. Enjoyed the entertainment and activities offered, especially the bonfire that kept us warm on the cold night.

The resort could have provided more food variety for the New Year celebrations. it was a bit of a challenge to reach the resort due to the steep climb and limited road access.
