I stayed at a classic style hotel that was very well maintained and clean. The front office staff provided excellent service and the breakfast had a good variety of dishes to choose from. The hotel is located near a train station and a big mall, offering beautiful views from its eighth floor. The hotel also had a helpful doorman who assisted with luggage.

Spent Easter weekend at a hotel in northern Sumatra. The pool was a highlight - clean and not overcrowded, surrounded by palm trees and providing a nice respite from the hot weather. Also enjoyed the breakfast buffet with plenty of traditional dishes to try. Can't go wrong with the convenient location - just a short drive from the airport and near some of the region's top attractions.

The room was pretty basic and could definitely use some updating. The Wi-Fi was spotty and the air conditioning struggled to keep up with the heat. Plus, some of the staff seemed a bit disorganized and not particularly friendly. But, overall, it was a decent stay and we had a nice time exploring the area.
