The staff at Mapa Lake View Bungalow were incredibly helpful and friendly. The manager Made was attentive and spoke excellent English. We enjoyed a fantastic trip around the volcano crater with a knowledgeable guide. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the delicious food options available at the restaurant.

We felt very comfortable during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

our stay at mapa lake view bungalow was simply amazing. the family's warm welcome, delicious drinks, and breathtaking view made us feel right at home. the comfortable, clean room with working ac was a great bonus. the location was perfect for our sunrise hike, being so close to the volcano base. the helpful tour guide they arranged made our hike even more enjoyable. we can't wait to stay here again!

I absolutely loved the homely atmosphere of this place. The owner's warm and kind nature made me feel right at home. I was greeted with welcome drinks upon arrival and was told I could help myself to the kitchen for tea and coffee whenever I wanted. The owner was also busy improving the rooms during my stay, showing his dedication and care towards the property and its guests.

Great location for hiking mount Batur, with guided tours arranged by the hotel. Stunning sunrise view from the top. Manager offers helpful services like motorbike rentals and taxis at reasonable prices. Beautifully presented grounds. Relaxing hot spring swimming pool. Lovely meals. Courteous and friendly staff always happy to assist.

We had a fantastic stay at this hidden gem. The value for money was excellent, and the room exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for our Mount Batur trek, and the staff treated us with such warmth and hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming bungalow overlooking the picturesque lake. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owner kindly accommodated my request for halal food. I enjoyed the scenic view of Mt Batur from the entrance and the tranquil ambiance of the well-kept lawn. Despite the basic amenities, the hot spring pool provided a relaxing experience after my sunrise hike. Although there were some noise disturbances and a slow Wi-Fi connection, the overall experience was pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly service, scenic location, and affordable price.

The bungalow had stunning views of Batur Lake and the owner and his wife were friendly and helpful. The staff made us feel welcome and at home, providing excellent meals. The location was perfect for the volcano trek, as we could walk straight to the trail. We also appreciated their organization of the trek and option to join a larger group. a great place to stay for volcano trekking.

I recently stayed at Mapa Lake View Bungalow for one night before climbing Mount Batur, and it was a fantastic experience. The manager, Made, was incredibly friendly and spoke English fluently. He arranged an amazing trip around the volcano crater, with a helpful guide who showed us some unique tricks on the volcano. The hotel itself is like a little oasis in the rural area, with spacious and clean rooms, delicious food, and a beautiful view of the lake. The owners made us feel like family and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Highly recommend!
