We had a fantastic stay at Samkhya Villas. the location was peaceful and secluded, tucked away behind the main road. the villa we stayed in had a stunning jungle view and was beautifully designed. the facilities were great, with tea, coffee, and a mini bar restocked daily. the open-plan bathroom was a unique touch. the hotel provided a free shuttle bus into Ubud, which was convenient for exploring the town. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend Samkhya Villas for a memorable stay in Ubud.

During our stay, there was a lot of construction noise due to ongoing villa development on the property. The noise from hammering and tile cutting throughout the day was very disturbing and made it difficult to relax.

I especially loved waking up to the breathtaking view of the rice fields in the morning. the transportation options provided by the resort, such as the shuttle to Ubud center and golf carts that took me from the main road to the villas, were convenient and made getting around easy. the food at the resort was more than decent, considering the remote location. My one-bedroom rice view villa with a private pool was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed, a nice living area, and a large bathroom.

The pool was quite cold, which was a minor inconvenience. our villa lacked complete privacy as there was a public area nearby that allowed people to look into some of the villas.
