I had an amazing stay at a lovely hotel with Batak-style architecture nestled by an Indonesian volcano. The hotel's clean and spacious rooms offered a balcony with breathtaking views of the lake, garden, and swimming pool. The staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay special, also provided a delicious and elegantly served breakfast. Additionally, the hotel's location made it convenient to partake in water activities, visit nearby restaurants, and explore the beautiful lakefront.

Location was excellent, close to the water and some good restaurants nearby. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the Christmas decorations gave a festive feeling.

The staff was unhelpful and difficult to communicate with. They seemed annoyed that we didn't speak their language fluently.

The hotel is situated in a stunning location, nestled on the lakefront with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and nice chairs to relax on the balcony. The bathrooms have nice hot water for a refreshing shower. The staff is attentive and friendly, providing umbrellas and maps for guests to use. The restaurant serves delicious food, and the ferry conveniently drops guests right at the entrance.

The limited breakfast menu was a disappointment for some guests.

I loved my stay at this hotel! The location on Samosir island was absolutely breathtaking. I woke up every morning to a fabulous view of the lake from my room with a balcony. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The basic amenities were all provided, and I especially appreciated the small sink in the room for convenience. The breakfast served here was fantastic, with authentic Swiss bread elegantly served.

Perfect location, great personnel. Boy Samosir helped with questions. Nice garden, good pool. Can hire canoe. Nearby tuk-tuk and bike rental. Tuk-tuk to Simanindo and hot springs recommended. Good restaurants nearby. Room had pleasant balcony, fantastic lake view!

We stayed at a lovely hotel in Sumatra, right by the lake and with a stunning view of the steep slope of Batak roofs. The location was perfect, with easy access to local restaurants and shops. Our spacious room was clean and had plenty of storage space. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with tasty eggs and homemade bread. We also appreciated the fast WiFi connection and the pool area with comfortable sunbeds.

The setting of the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the water. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the pool is perfect for a refreshing swim. The food served at the restaurant is delicious, and the waiters are friendly and attentive. Despite a few small inconveniences, such as the lack of English-speaking staff and the occasional cold shower, our stay at Zoe's Paradise Waterfront was enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.
