During my stay at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and accommodating staff. When I arrived late at night, they ensured that my room was warm and ready for me. Additionally, although there were no tea making facilities in my room, the staff kindly made a hot drink for me to enjoy in the comfort of my room.

This charming family-run hotel, situated close to the seafront and the very heart of the city of Galway, offers a friendly Galway welcome just like it has for over 50 years. We were greeted by three generations of the same family who made us feel right at home. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the bustling city and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea. Additionally, the hotel had a fantastic leisure complex with squash, badminton, and tennis courts, perfect for keeping the kids entertained. It was refreshing to see a hotel that has been run by the same family for so long, as it truly added a personal touch to our stay.

For families with children, my children wanted to have more options for entertainment within the hotel itself. While the leisure complex was great, they were hoping for some additional activities like a playground or game room.

I had a short stay in this city and the hotel's location was perfect for me. It was within reach of the city center and also close to Pearce stadium, which was great for me as a sports enthusiast. I also enjoyed taking long walks near the hotel, especially down to the sea in Salthill. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

I had a great time at Anno Santo! The staff were amazing, always friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to both the city and Salthill. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Despite the dated decor, the hotel offered good value for money. I'll definitely be back!

It was also conveniently situated next to a bus stop, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast offered a delicious and varied selection. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Friendly staff made me feel very welcome. Good location for exploring the area. Breakfast was excellent, especially the burnt toast. Cons: Had to endure cold showers and the joy of old-fashioned TV with terrible reception.

The location was perfect, as it was within walking distance of the busy Italian restaurant and the beautiful promenade along the sea in Salthill. We also enjoyed walking into the buzzing city of Galway during the day, which only took around 30 to 40 minutes. The hotel facilities were satisfactory, with comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, and breads for toasting. Parking was available in front of the hotel and was free. We found it convenient to have transportation options, such as a bus stop right outside, to take us into town.

For us, it was ideal.
